15″ High Profile Steel Body

15″ Hi-profile bare steel body (with 2 snap rings)  $159

-15″ lenses always used steel bodies and were in common use from the 1910’s to the 1940’s. 2 styles were available, high and lo profile. They           are interchangeable and are purely a matter of personal preference.  These are a very accurate, stamped steel reproduction of the originals         and are, in my opinion, the best on the market.

**I do not recommend powder coat or high build paint on the snap rings as this can cause fitment issues. I use flat black from a spray can if I        even paint them at all.

**The bodies are bare steel and have a light protective oily coating that must be thoroughly cleaned before painting.                                                      Very occasionally they may have light surface rust spots which are easily removed with steel wool or fine sandpaper.
